We are so excited for the 2022 All Brass Boot Camp (ABBC) July 11th - July 15th!! My hope is that the ABBC is helpful to any brass student that wants an extra 'push' in their playing, especially over summer. Location of the ABBC is 1/2 mile outside Antioch, in the beautiful facilities of St. Benedict's Abbey. Below is more information as well as the camp flyer.
The ABBC will take place for 5 days; July 11th - July 15th. Both in-person and Zoom options are available. The Middle school session will be from 8:30am - 10:00am each day. The high school session will be from 10:30am - 12:00pm each day. Location is on the beautiful campus of St. Benedict's Abbey near Antioch, IL. Attending online via Zoom is available as well!
The (ABBC) is a chance for brass students from area schools to keep the horn 'on the face' during summer, as well as focus on sound, breathing, intonation, and sight reading. The music and warm-ups will be fun! If students aren't able to make all 5 sessions, that's ok! As long as they can make most sessions the ABBC should be helpful. Also, we will record a couple pieces on the last day of camp and send out the mp3's once they're digitally mastered.
